The KitchenAid Ice Cream Book
Twenty no-egg flavors built on the same five-ingredient base that a hundred thousand people a year make from my vanilla recipe - plus the troubleshooting I wish someone had handed me with the bowl.

You bought the bowl. Now what?
I bought the KitchenAid ice cream bowl on a whim in 2022 and wrote up the vanilla I made with it, mostly so I'd stop losing the recipe. That post turned into the most-read thing I've ever published, and the comments always ask the same thing: what else can I make in this?
This book is the answer. Every flavor starts from the same milk-cream-sugar-salt-vanilla base. No eggs. No custard. Most of them never touch the stove. If you can whisk, you can make every recipe in it.
What's inside
Before you churn
- The Base & the Method - the five ingredients, why each one matters, and the eight rules that decide whether you get ice cream or a cold milkshake
- Your Machine - freezing the bowl, which mixers it fits, setup, cleaning (and the one thing that scratched mine)
- When It Goes Wrong - an 11-row troubleshooting chart: icy, grainy, rock-hard, overflowed, dasher stuck, swirl vanished. Symptom, cause, fix.
- Mix-In Timing & Build-Your-Own - exactly when each kind of mix-in goes in, how much, and a flavor matrix for inventing your own
The 20 flavors
The Classics: Classic Vanilla · Mexican Vanilla · Chocolate · Coffee · Cinnamon
Mix-Ins: Chocolate Chip · Mint Chocolate Chip · Cookies & Cream · Cookie Dough (egg-free, safe to eat) · Rocky Road · Peanut Butter Cup · Butter Pecan
Fruit & Swirls: Strawberry Compote Swirl · Blueberry Compote Swirl · Fresh Peach · Lemon · Salted Caramel
Holiday: Pumpkin Spice Latte · Eggnog · Peppermint Bark
Every recipe has a full ingredient list, numbered method, a timeline strip, a Chef's tip, and room to write your own notes.
Who this is for
Anyone with a KitchenAid ice cream bowl attachment who's made the vanilla and wants more. It also works, timing and all, in a Cuisinart frozen-bowl maker - and there's a note for Ninja Creami owners too.
It is not a custard book. If you want egg-yolk French-style bases, this isn't it. These are the fast, clean, stir-and-churn flavors I actually make on a Tuesday.
About me
I'm Tabi. I graduated valedictorian from Le Cordon Bleu, I've been writing recipes at Tabetha's Table since 2022, and I have scratched the inside of my ice cream bowl with a metal spoon exactly once. Everything I learned from that, and from the hundred batches since, is in here.
Questions
How do I get it? Checkout takes about a minute. The download link lands in your email right away, and you can save the PDF to your phone, print it, or both.
Do I need the KitchenAid attachment? It's written for it, but any frozen-bowl ice cream maker works with the same timing.
Are the recipes on the blog? A few of the classics are - the vanilla, Mexican vanilla and pumpkin spice latte live here for free. The other seventeen, the troubleshooting chart, and the build-your-own matrix are only in the book.
Refunds? If a recipe doesn't work for you, email me. I answer, and I fix things.
